The objective of this research is to determine the impact on the recovery of investments of the main companies in the sector, as a result of the COVID-19 health crisis and how they have adapted their organizational approach, towards the client in the midst of a competitive market and still in conditions of economic contraction. To measure the results related to the levels of investment recovery, a representative sample of companies with national service coverage was selected, which account for 88% of the market size, measured by the income generated, considering 5 companies, on this basis, the methodology was applied to the valuation of companies through static analysis using the PE ratio (Price/Earning Ratio), which measures the number of years that the net profit allows the business investment to be recovered. The general conclusion of the analysis shows that the consolidated result of the sample of companies analyzed has doubled the recovery period, going from 3.43 years to 6.20 years, between 2019 and 2021; respectively, which means that economic activity is generating lower levels of profitability and it is expected that it will improve and allow it to reach pre-crisis levels of profitability.
